use methoxyacetyl chloride is an intermediate of fungicides evil cream and metalaxyl.
Used as an intermediate in medicine and dyes
production method its preparation method is to put methanol and flake NaOH into the reaction flask, reflux reaction for 30min, then cool and add a certain amount of chloroacetic acid, heat up the reaction for 2h, evaporate methanol after reflux, then azeotropic dehydration, and cool to below 10 ℃ after water is completely removed, toluene and SOCl2 were added as acylating agents, reacted at about 45 ℃ for 1h, cooled to 20 ℃, and distilled to obtain the product after post-treatment. CH3ONa ClCH2COOH→CH3OCH2COONaCH3OCH2COONa SOCl2→ CH3OCH2COCl NaCl SO2↑
